The employees of pasta producer Riesa Nudeln will receive a wage increase in three stages. The agreement was already reached in the first round of negotiations, the Food, Beverages and Catering Union (NGG) announced on Wednesday. Wages are to rise by 200 euros from June and in two further steps next year by 3 percent on March 1 and 2 percent on December 1. This means that the wage increases for many employees will amount to 12 to 13 percent. Remuneration for trainees is also set to increase. In the industrial sector, the starting point for the first year of training is currently 1031 euros. The collective agreement has a term of 24 months.
