In the first half of 2025, the Saxon police became aware of a further nine suspected cases relating to right-wing extremism within its own ranks. Among other things, 15 officers are accused of "xenophobic statements", the use of banned symbols and slogans as well as bodily harm.
In one case from February, the Chemnitz public prosecutor's office is currently investigating the criminal use of symbols of unconstitutional and terrorist organizations, according to the Ministry of the Interior's answer to a small question from state parliament member Juliane Nagel (Left Party).
