Nine unauthorized drone flights were registered in Saxony in the first half of the year. In all cases, the aircraft were spotted over a company site in Böhlen-Lippendorf in January and February, the Ministry of the Interior announced in response to a minor question from the Left Party. The "Leipziger Volkszeitung" and "Sächsische Zeitung" had previously reported. The incidents had been classified as "security-relevant". It is unclear who was flying the drones. According to the ministry, the investigation into violations of the Aviation Act is being conducted against persons unknown.
