According to a survey in Saxony, the AfD has 42% of the second votes and would currently be by far the strongest force in a state election. At 21 percent, the CDU only achieves half of this share of the vote, according to the survey conducted by the Insa opinion research institute on behalf of the news portal Nius. They are followed by Die Linke (9%) and the Sahra Wagenknecht alliance (7%). The SPD and the Greens are tied at 6 percent.

Compared to a survey conducted in May 2025, the AfD gained 7 percentage points. The CDU loses 5 percentage points, the BSW 4. The Greens and the Left remain unchanged with their results, the SPD gains one percentage point.
