Saxony's government will once again provide an insight into its work at the Open Day on Sunday (August 4). Under the motto "See and be seen", citizens can visit the ministries in Dresden from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and talk to the ministers there, as announced by the State Chancellery. In addition to Minister President Michael Kretschmer (CDU), numerous other members of the state government will also be present.
For example, the Ministry of the Interior will be giving visitors a tour of the police situation center. Minister of State Armin Schuster (CDU) will provide a glimpse into his office. In the courtyard of the Ministry of the Environment, the motto is: "Climate-conscious living!" Minister of State Petra Köpping (SPD) awaits her guests in the Ministry of Social Affairs with information opportunities and presentation stands from the health and social sectors. The Ministry of Justice will provide an insight into the women's prison system. Visitors can also find out what tasks juvenile court judges have.
