After showing the Hitler salute and attacking a woman on a streetcar in Dresden, the public prosecutor's office has brought charges against a man. The 35-year-old is accused of assault and using signs of unconstitutional and terrorist organizations, according to the public prosecutor's office.
On 21 December 2024, the accused allegedly played videos with content glorifying National Socialism on his cell phone several times on streetcar line 7 and showed the Hitler salute. When a 63-year-old woman asked him to stop, he allegedly hit her in the face with his fist.
The man already has a criminal record and did not comment on the allegations against him.
