Saxon BSW lead candidate Sabine Zimmermann has expressed her satisfaction with her party's result in the state elections. "We are in double digits and we have maintained the result of the European elections. We can be proud of that and we are," Zimmermann said on ARD television. With the BSW, politics must change, and this must also be felt by citizens. "And in a short space of time," said Zimmermann.
Zimmermann also expressed his satisfaction at the BSW election party. "What we are writing here is history," she said in front of cheering supporters. Together with BSW state chairman Jörg Scheibe, the young party's top candidate in Saxony thanked the voters and campaign helpers. "With us, there will only be a new start. We will not be the majority procurers," said Zimmermann with a view to possible coalition talks.
