Unknown perpetrators have thrown a paving stone with a swastika into the home of a Syrian man in Freiberg (Central Saxony). The projectile smashed a window on Saturday evening and damaged a television, according to the police. The 31-year-old tenant of the ground-floor apartment was unharmed.

The ten by ten centimeter granite stone was marked with a black swastika and an insult. The state security department of the Chemnitz police has started an investigation.
