Die Prinzen announce farewell tour for 2027

Tickets will be available online from Tuesday (April 21) at 10.00 a.m. from ticket marketer CTS Eventim and from Thursday (April 23) at all known advance booking offices.

The farewell tour is intended as a "big thank you to the audience", who can look forward to "special arrangements, personal moments and perhaps a surprise or two", it was said.

After more than three decades, the time has come for the band to say goodbye. The band told Bild that they had decided together "after careful consideration" to "bring our career to a worthy conclusion".

"When it's at its best, stop," Sebastian Krumbiegel told the newspaper. Band member Wolfgang Lenk added: "Better to feel sadness now than to experience embarrassment at some point. Nothing would be worse for us than if people were to ask when we would finally step down as a band. That's why we decided to call it a day voluntarily."

The Prinzen are one of the best-known German bands. A joint tour with the Thüringen Philharmonie Gotha-Eisenach is planned for this year.
