In the hospital series "In aller Freundschaft", actress Annett Renneberg (48) has to say goodbye. After nine years, Prof. Maria Weber, who she portrayed, dies in the series. The episode "Can Miracles Happen?" will be broadcast on ARD this Tuesday (9 p.m.).
Renneberg says that she was surprised by the end for her character. "You should always expect that this can happen - the contracts run for one season at a time. I was surprised that the decision was made for my character - I thought that with a small child and my popularity, I was relatively safe as far as that was concerned," explained the actress.
