Claudius Dreilich, singer of the band Karat, is in love again. His new partner is called Assol and is 49 years old, the 55-year-old told "SuperIllu". "The nice thing is: Assol didn't suddenly appear in my life, she already knew Karat and my story. And she knew what she was getting into with an artist," reported Dreilich. They met through her mother, who worked at the band's merchandise stand.
Being in a relationship with an artist is not easy, said the Karat frontman. "The music comes first, then everything else. It's not easy for a woman." Dreilich and his wife Belinda separated in 2022.
The Berlin band Karat ("Über sieben Brücken musst du gehn") is celebrating its 50th birthday this year.
