Saxon schoolchildren can submit their self-produced films to the "film ab!" film festival. Projects can be submitted until the beginning of November - there is prize money of up to 300 euros in four categories, as announced by the organizing office.
The competition aims to encourage children and young people in Saxony to engage with democracy and co-determination under the special theme "Our Voice, Our Future", according to a statement.
The festival aims to promote the media skills of pupils and young film talents. It takes place on behalf of the Saxon State Ministry of Culture and in cooperation with the Saxon State Media Authority.
