The Dresden Park Railway will soon be ending its anniversary season: passengers can still take a ride through the Great Garden until October 31. This season, around 220,000 guests have already used the popular excursion destination, according to Schlösserland Sachsen. In 2024, the park railroad counted 220,700 passengers. Celebrations this year included the 75th birthday of the park railroad and the 100th birthday of the steam locomotives "Moritz" and "Lisa".
The railroad operates from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. from Wednesday to Friday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at weekends and on October 31. The next ride season starts on March 28, 2026.
