"The adjustment of the processing fee is therefore an economically necessary step to ensure the technical operation, security, digitization and support of the approximately 1,210 sales outlets in Saxony," it said.

Different fees in the federal states

The lotteries are offered nationwide. However, players pay different prices in the individual federal states because the state lottery companies charge different fees. In addition, there are also so-called commercial lottery brokers such as Tipp24 or Clever Lotto, through which it is also possible to participate in state lotteries online. These brokers also have their own fee systems.
