This is how the replacement service works

Commuters in Dresden have known the suffering since the beginning of February. The stops between the main station and Dresden-Plauen are only served by buses. According to a Regiobahn spokesperson, this will continue into the fall.

Now there is also the section between Freiberg and Oederan, where there are several construction sites. The changes should be relatively seamless during the day. However, there may be waiting times, said the spokesperson. The replacement buses for the RE will run without stopping between the two stations. The RB replacement buses will also stop at the stations en route. However, the stop in Frankenstein cannot be served. Instead, the nearby Oberschöna will be served. In addition, minibuses will run between Oederan and Frankenstein.

In the late evening, there will be no change and the buses will run through from Oederan to Dresden or Freiberg to Chemnitz.
