A traffic jam about four to five kilometers long has formed on the A4 towards Görlitz near the border crossing to Poland. According to the police, this is due to entry checks into Poland. Many people are currently on their way home to Poland. The traffic situation was similar on Friday. This is the peak of the travel wave and the number of travelers is likely to decrease again in the coming days, according to the police.
