The collision between two vans near the Autobahn 72 in the Zwickau district caused damage amounting to 60,000 euros. No people were injured. According to the police, the accident happened on Friday at a traffic light just off the Hartenstein exit. The cause of the accident is unclear. According to the police, both drivers stated that they had passed the traffic lights on green.
A 62-year-old man had wanted to turn left in his van coming from the highway. He collided with the vehicle of a 23-year-old who was traveling on the road in the direction of Lichtenstein. It was impossible for either of them to continue their journey in their wrecked vehicles. The police are now hoping for information from witnesses.
