Europe's largest animal show, regional delicacies and smart agricultural technology: Agra in Markkleeberg will once again be the meeting place for the agricultural, forestry and food industry.

Saxony wants to whet the appetite for local food at the Agra agricultural exhibition in Markkleeberg. "This year, Agra will once again be a meeting place for culinary delights and innovation. Enjoyment is a top priority at the Agra marketplace, which presents a wide range of producers from regional beekeepers and small manufacturers to direct marketers," explained Thomas Horn, Head of Saxony's Economic Development Agency.

Largest industry get-together in eastern Germany

The trade fair, which runs from this Thursday to Sunday, is regarded as the largest industry get-together for the agriculture, forestry and food sector in eastern Germany. According to the organizers, the major future topics of the industry will be covered on an area of around 110,000 square meters. Agricultural technology exhibitors will provide an overview of innovations and machine programs
from almost all manufacturers: tractors and harvesters are becoming increasingly autonomous, artificial intelligence is connecting machines.
