A small van is on fire on the A17; the fire has since been extinguished, but traffic heading toward Prague is still restricted.

A small van caught fire on the A17 highway heading toward Prague between Pirna and Bahretal. The cause of the fire is still unclear, according to police. Following the vehicle fire, the highway toward Prague was temporarily closed. Emergency responders extinguished the fire. Traffic has been diverted to the left lane since 2:50 a.m., the police reported early Wednesday morning.
