A 25-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Radeberg (Bautzen district). He was flown to a hospital by rescue helicopter, according to police.
According to current information, a 31-year-old driver was attempting to turn into a car wash on Saturday afternoon. In doing so, he failed to see the oncoming motorcyclist. The 25-year-old collided with the turning car and was thrown over the vehicle.
The driver sustained minor injuries. Property damage to both vehicles is estimated at around 40,000 euros. The traffic accident investigation unit is investigating the exact cause of the accident.
