The defense contractor Czechoslovak Group (CSG) has acquired the Gnaschwitz facility in the Bautzen district from the explosives manufacturer Maxam. CSG plans to produce nitroglycerin and related substances there, as well as ammunition in the future, the company announced. As a first step, 100 million euros are to be invested and up to 125 new jobs created. CSG is a European defense conglomerate headquartered in Prague.
