Two teenagers were seriously injured in an accident between a moped and a car on the Bundesstraße 6 near Löbau in the district of Görlitz. According to the police, a car driver wanted to overtake a moped with a 15-year-old driver and a 13-year-old passenger on Friday evening.
When the moped wanted to turn left, the two vehicles collided. The 15-year-old and his passenger were seriously injured and taken to hospital. The car driver was uninjured.
According to initial estimates, the damage amounts to around 1,200 euros. The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
