According to their own statements, the Leipzig/Halle and Dresden airports have completed their financial restructuring about half a year earlier than planned. Following confirmation from the financing partners and a final assessment, the completion—originally scheduled for the end of 2026—was achieved as early as July 3, Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG (MFAG) announced.
Focus Now on Growth
After years of restructuring, the company now intends to focus on the further development of the airports. The focus is on the economic development of the Leipzig/Halle and Dresden airports, as well as on tapping into new growth and revenue potential. The goal is to strengthen the airports’ competitiveness in the long term.
