A section of the A9 near Halle will be closed for several days from Sunday evening - to repair road damage. According to Autobahn GmbH, this affects the section between the Halle junction and the Schkeuditzer Kreuz junction in the direction of Munich. The closure will begin at around 10 p.m. (today) on Sunday and is expected to last until 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
The Wiedemar slip road in the direction of Munich will also be closed during this time. The Schkeuditzer Kreuz itself is not affected. A detour will lead from Halle via the B100 to the Schkeuditzer Kreuz junction. The reason for the work is damage to the carriageway caused by the frequent alternation of frost and thaw.
