With the 4:1 win against VfL Bochum, 1. FC Magdeburg have recorded two wins in a row for the first time in the second half of the Bundesliga 2. Nevertheless, coach Petrik Sander warns not to let up: "Despite the win, it will continue, anyone can score against anyone. There will be no early decision as far as relegation is concerned."
The Quedlinburg native praised his team for the first half of the game in particular. "The team implemented what we wanted one-to-one in the first half. The first half was outstanding," said Sander. With 30 points, 1. FC Magdeburg are 13th in the table, but must continue to win games to stay in the league.
