The Dresden SC women's volleyball team won the penultimate home game of the Bundesliga main round against USC Münster with a commanding 3:0 (25:22, 25:19, 25:16). As a result, Alexander Waibl's team gained revenge for the 2:3 defeat in the first leg and also secured home court for the play-off quarter-finals with their 14th win of the season.
In a match with many long and contested rallies, the DSC women repeatedly found good solutions in attack in front of 2681 spectators. The favorites also won the serve-and-return duel in the end and proved superior to the team from Münster in blocking and defending the court.
Even when they fell behind at times, the hosts did not lose their composure, but went one better when they needed to. After just 67 minutes, the DSC women converted the first match point to win with an ace from Jette Kuipers.
