Serious Injury: MBC to Be Without Captain Reaves for Weeks

Syntainics MBC will have to do without its captain, Spencer Reaves, for the opening game of the Basketball Bundesliga. The American suffered a double ligament tear in his ankle during a preseason game against Chemnitz and, according to the club, will be sidelined for at least six weeks.

Since joining Weißenfels in the summer of 2024, Reaves has missed only one of 90 games in league, cup, and European competition. The MBC kicks off the new season on September 20 in Oldenburg.
