Dynamo Dresden goalkeeper Lennart Grill has suffered a serious injury to his right knee and will be out for several months. The 26-year-old suffered the injury during the Saxons' 2-1 win over Fortuna Düsseldorf on Sunday and is now due to undergo surgery.
"The loss of Lennart affects us all and also dampens the joy of the first home win," said Dynamo coach Thomas Stamm. With regard to goalkeeper Tim Schreiber, he added: "We are glad that we have a strong goalkeeper in Tim, who fortunately is fully fit again after his injury and can now return to the posts."
About Grill, Stamm explained: "We will closely accompany Lennart on his rehab process and support him in returning to the pitch with his old strength."
