After the porn scandal during a theater project at a secondary school in Lusatia, Saxony, the organizers have expressed their regret. Micki Börchers, federal chairwoman of the youth organization "Socialist Youth of Germany - The Falcons", told the news agency dpa that donated craft materials such as notebooks and magazines had been made available to the pupils of a ninth grade class when creating a collage on the subject of courage. "Among them was a magazine that inadvertently contained pictures of sexual images and naked people," explained Börchers. After some students discovered this, the two people responsible immediately took the magazine and classified what had happened, they said. The newspaper "Bild" had previously reported on the association as the organizer of the theater project. The project reportedly took place under the auspices of the SJD Berlin regional association. The incident is now being investigated, it said. "We regret that this magazine was part of the materials provided and that this may have led to discomfort among the young people," emphasized Börchers. This does not meet the association's standards. Several parents filed criminal charges after the incident. According to the authorities, the school management discontinued the project on the same day and terminated the service contract with those responsible for the project.
