Wölfel and Rolle to become MBC Managing Directors in future

Ulrike Wölfel and Alexander Rolle will take over the management of the basketball Bundesliga club Synatinics MBC in the future. This was announced by the club. Accordingly, the two will take over the tasks previously bundled under Managing Partner Martin Geissler, while Geissler will retire from operational management. The handover process is to be completed by the end of the season.

As part of the restructuring, Wölfel will take over commercial responsibility and the Lions' match operations in Halle. Rolle will be primarily responsible for business and organizational development as well as match operations at the Weißenfels site. Both will manage the sporting side of the business in close cooperation with sports directors Silvano Poropat and Mario Zurkowski. With this expansion of the management team, the club is creating clear responsibilities and setting the course for sustainable further development, according to a statement.
