After a tight 40 minutes, the Niners leave the court in Ludwigsburg as losers. Their defense dominated and 21 turnovers cost them a potential victory.

The Niners Chemnitz basketball team missed out on a possible seventh win of the season in the German league. The club from Saxony lost its game on the road at MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg by 65:69 (35:34) and so had to let the eighth-placed club pass it in the table.

Hunter Maldonado (16 points), Ezra Manjon, Joel Scott (12 each) and Yorman Polas Bartolo (11) played the biggest part in the home side's success. Only Olivier Nkamhoua (18) and Victor Bailey Jr. (17) and DeAndre Lansdowne (11) scored in double digits for Chemnitz.
