With returnee Xaver Schlager RB Leipzig goes into the Champions League match against Red Star Belgrade. The Austrian international soccer player has cured his infection and forms the duo in the defensive midfield together with veteran Kevin Kampl. Offensively, coach Marco Rose trusts on Wednesday evening the quartet Xavi Simons, Emil Forsberg, Yussuf Poulsen and Loïs Openda, which was already used on Saturday in the 3:1 in Darmstadt.
Bearing has, in addition to Rose and Amadou Haidara sitting on the bench, already Belgrade experience. The trio met Belgrade in 2018 with RB Salzburg in the playoffs for the top flight.
