The Bundesliga handball team SC DHfK Leipzig still has to wait for its first away win in 2025. The team of Head Coach Runar Sigtrygssson was clearly beaten 25:34 (12:17) at leaders MT Melsungen on Friday evening. The best scorer for SC DHfK, who now have 17:27 points, was international Luca Witzke with six goals. Ian Barrufet stood out for MT (36:8) with eight goals.
After the break, the visitors initially fought their way back to 15:18 (34'), but the league leaders quickly regained control and extended their lead to 22:16 (41') with a 4:1 run. Leipzig no longer had much to do against Melsungen's commanding display and ultimately suffered its highest defeat of the season.
