Leipzig's Bundesliga handball team is still in deep trouble. Despite leading for a long time, TVB Stuttgart also failed to secure their first win of the season.

The Bundesliga handball team SC DHfK Leipzig has once again failed to break out of the basement of the table. The team coached by Frank Carstens narrowly lost 32:33 (17:14) at TVB Stuttgart. In front of 4,532 spectators, William Bogojevic was the best scorer for SC DHfK, which now has 3:27 points.

Leipzig got off to a sluggish start to the game and fell 6:8 behind in the 14th minute due to a number of technical mistakes. However, the visitors then gained more and more confidence in attack and found good playful solutions against TVB's defense. Carstens' players turned the deficit into a deserved three-goal lead by the break.

The bottom club in the table maintained its lead for a long time, before Stuttgart produced a 6:2 run to take a 31:30 lead in the 55th minute. The visitors recovered and tied the scores at 32:32 through Blaer Hinriksson (57'). However, Stuttgart had the last word in the hectic final spell. Former national team player Kai Häfner capitalized on a coordination error by Leipzig with 27 seconds remaining to make it 33:32.
