RB Leipzig will end the Champions League group stage on Wednesday with a match against Young Boys Bern that has no sporting significance. While the Saxons are already confirmed as group runners-up ahead of the clash (18:45/DAZN), the Swiss champions can no longer be displaced from third place. Leipzig will therefore progress to the last 16 of the Champions League next year, while Bern will play in the Europa League.
Former captain Peter Gulacsi will be in goal for Leipzig, making his first home appearance since tearing his cruciate ligament in October 2022. Timo Werner is also fit again.
