The relegation-threatened handball team SC DHfK Leipzig has to cope with another personnel setback. Italy's national goalkeeper Domenico Ebner will not extend his expiring contract and will leave the Saxons next summer. This was announced by the Bundesliga club.
"After three intensive and instructive years, the time has now come for me to take a new path in sport," said the 31-year-old Ebner, who moved to Leipzig from Hannover-Burgdorf in 2023.
