Last-placed SC DHfK Leipzig have celebrated their second win of the season in the German Handball League. In their first game after the European Championship break, the team from Saxony celebrated a 35:33 (19:15) away win at HSV Hamburg. The best scorers in front of 2,512 spectators were Dean Bombac with ten goals for Leipzig and Casper Mortensen with eight goals for Hamburg.
In the 44th minute, Leipzig's Ahmed Khairi was shown the red card after a foul on Mortensen. HSVH then turned 22:27 (42') into 29:28 (50'). Thanks to strong performances from Bombac and Semper in particular, SC DHfK then had the better end.
