Football international Assan Ouédraogo is about to make his Bundesliga return for RB Leipzig. The 19-year-old has been fully reintegrated into team training at the training camp in Portugal and is therefore an option for this Saturday's Bundesliga match (3.30pm/Sky) at FC St. Pauli, RB announced.
The attacking midfielder was out injured after making his debut and scoring in the DFB team's 6-0 win over Slovakia and the Bundesliga match against Werder Bremen (2-0). Ouédraogo had been sidelined since the end of November with a tendon injury in the back of his left knee.
International Benjamin Henrichs has also returned to team training after tearing his Achilles tendon. According to the club, the workload will "now be gradually increased in order to get him back into competitive matches". This also applies to Ezechiel Banzuzi (muscle injury).
Goalkeeper Gulacsi trains individually
Peter Gulacsi is still having to miss training camp. The goalkeeper is suffering from knee problems, is training individually and will not take part in the internal training match. Striker Romulo will also continue to be rested following ankle problems. Convalescents Antonio Nusa (left syndesmosis injury) and Johan Bakayoko (muscular problems in his left calf) are also undergoing individual recovery training.
