Bundesliga leaders SC Magdeburg have signed Oskar Vind from Danish top club GOG. The 25-year-old Dane has signed a contract from summer 2026 and will replace right winger Tim Hornke at SCM, who will end his career after the current season. "Oskar is not only a great fit for our team in sporting terms, but also as a person," said SCM coach and Managing Director Sport Bennet Wiegert in a club statement.
Vind began his career in his hometown of Roskilde and was voted into the Danish league's All-Star team as the best right winger in 2021/22. In 2023, he won the Danish championship with GOG and made his debut in the Danish national team. "For me, SC Magdeburg is the best club in the world. I look forward to contributing to the team's continued success and ambitious goals in the future," said the 1.96-metre tall Vind.
