The Germany Cup 2024 will once again take place in Landshut. As the German Ice Hockey Federation (DEB) announced on Friday, the joint men's and women's tournament will be held in the Fanatec Arena from November 6 to November 10, as it was last year. Last year's inaugural event was well received by over 20,000 spectators over the five match days. The DEB will announce details of the eight participating teams, the schedule and ticket sales in April.
"After hosting the event in 2023, we received positive feedback from the participating teams, the IIHF and other observers. Our internal assessment was also absolutely positive. We can also look back on a great number of spectators, which has confirmed the format of the joint women's and men's tournament," commented DEB President Peter Merten on the renewed vote for Landshut.
