The goalless draw at FC Augsburg didn't keep them at SC Freiburg for long. "Full speed ahead," said goalkeeper Noah Atubolu when asked about the next game in the Bundesliga next Saturday against RB Leipzig. In the evening game against the Saxons, SC wants to "build on the performances that we have already shown enough of at home this year", as coach Julian Schuster explained.
Freiburg have won three of their four home games so far since the winter break. The most recent was a furious 5:0 against Werder Bremen. They are in third place in the home table for the season as a whole. Leipzig have won just one of their seven second-round games so far and have also recorded five draws.
