Leipzig (dpa)In the defeat against Leverkusen, Leipzig conceded two goals from corner kicks. The statistics show Leipzig's weakness at set-pieces. 38 per cent of goals conceded were from set-pieces, the second-worst figure in the league behind FC Augsburg.
- Good news in terms of set-pieces: they are not exactly VfB's specialty. Stuttgart scored only 13 percent of their goals from these situations. That's the lowest figure in the league.
- Stuttgart goalkeeper Alexander Nübel did make a mistake in the first leg, but that was a rarity. The 27-year-old saved almost 55 percent of all the opponent's big chances, only Manuel Neuer is better in the Bundesliga. RB keeper Janis Blaswich has a score of just 35 percent.
- The two top strikers will face off on the Neckar. Stuttgart's Deniz Undav has fired 34 shots on goal this season, or 3.3 per game. Lois Openda is just behind him. The Belgian international has 49 shots on goal, or 3.18 per game. Only Harry Kane is better than the duo with 56 shots on goal (3.43)
- Through the middle: Both teams score their goals primarily after attacks through the center. Leipzig have scored 70 percent of their 40 goals so far through the middle. Stuttgart have scored 71 per cent of their 38 goals.
