The European Gymnastics Championships will be held in Leipzig in 2025. This decision by the European federation was announced by the German Gymnastics Federation (DTB) on Monday. The European Championships will be held at the New Trade Fair Center from 26 to 31 May 2025.
The event is to be integrated into the International German Gymnastics Festival. Up to 80,000 participants are expected to attend the event from May 28 to June 1.
Originally, the European Championships were to be held in Tel Aviv. However, this plan was scrapped due to the current situation in Israel. The Executive Committee unanimously decided in favor of Leipzig.
