Only a few tickets are still available for Wednesday's Conference League final in Leipzig. These are primarily returns from the contingents of the two finalists Crystal Palace and Rayo Vallecano. According to dpa information, more than 18,000 fans of the London club will be at the match (21:00/RTL Nitro), with around 10,500 supporters traveling from Spain.
The stadium has 39,700 seats due to the conversion of the standing room into seats. There are 47,800 seats available for RB Leipzig's Bundesliga matches. The record number of spectators for a Conference League final is 39,754 fans, who attended Chelsea FC's victory over Betis Sevilla in Wroclaw last year.
The final will be accompanied by a fan festival lasting several days in Leipzig's city center. The event was approved by the city council in January. The costs for this amount to around one million euros.
