Coach Jens Härtel of third-division soccer club FC Erzgebirge Aue asks his team to attend their first training session on June 23. The professionals will complete the obligatory performance tests. The first test match is then scheduled for June 27 (5:30 p.m.) at FV Krokusblüte Drebach. A total of six friendly matches are planned, including an international friendly on July 5 (2:00 p.m.) at Glenavon FC in Northern Ireland.
Immediately afterwards, the team will head to Bad Gögging in Bavaria for a training camp, where two tests against Würzburger FV 04 on July 8 and three days later at SpVgg. Bayreuth are scheduled. The highlight of the preparation is then the test match against Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach at home on July 18 (5.30 p.m.), before the start of the third division on the first weekend in August.
