Football third-division club Dynamo Dresden will begin preparations for the second half of the season on January 3 after the twelve-day Christmas break. After two more days of training in the Saxon state capital, head coach Thomas Stamm's team will fly to the winter training camp in Lara, Turkey, on January 6. In addition to numerous training sessions, the team will also play a test match there until January 12. The opponent has not yet been determined.
The first home game of the new year is then scheduled for January 19, when they will face FC Viktoria Köln at the Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion at 1:30 pm. In the last first-round match of the year on December 21, SDG will face SpVgg Unterhaching.
