Dynamo Dresden have parted company with defender Kubatta. The central defender's prospects of playing time were limited due to another squad change.

Second division promoted Dynamo Dresden have parted company with David Kubatta. The central defender is moving to WSG Tirol, as Dynamo announced. Both clubs have agreed not to disclose the terms of the transfer. "We have held numerous discussions with David to analyze his sporting prospects and the chance of regular playing time and have come to the conclusion that a change is the right step for him," said sporting director Thomas Brendel.

The 21-year-old Kubatta moved to Elbflorenz in the summer of 2024. He previously played for Viktoria Köln. The central defender played a total of 14 competitive matches for Schwarz-Gelb in the last third division season, scoring two goals. Dynamo recently signed central defender Julian Pauli on loan from 1. FC Köln. As a result, the prospect of playing time for Kubatta was limited.
