Preparations for the season are in full swing at Dynamo Dresden, who have been promoted to the second division. A new player arrives from the coast and training takes place in the mountains.

Just before the start of the training camp in Austria, Dynamo Dresden have completed another summer transfer. Swede Nils Fröling joins the promoted second division side from Hansa Rostock.

The 25-year-old attacking player fits the Saxons' requirements profile with his intense and physical style of play, emphasized sporting director Thomas Brendel. Dynamo had previously signed Konrad Faber from Swiss first division club FC St. Gallen on loan and Kofi Amoako from VfL Wolfsburg, among others.

Clear victory against amateur selection

In addition to personnel planning, Dynamo's sporting preparations are also progressing. Head coach Thomas Stamm will now train with the squad in Windischgarsten in Upper Austria until July 6. Before their departure, SGD won a test match on Saturday against a selection of five teams from Kamenz by 14:0.

The sporting tests after the training camp will be much more demanding. On July 13, Dresden will host Czech champions Slavia Prague. The dress rehearsal for the league opener at SpVgg Greuter Fürth (August 2-3) will take place on July 25 in Schruns, Austria, against SC Freiburg.
