Volleyball Bundesliga club Dresdner SC bids farewell to several players at the end of the season.

Bundesliga volleyball club Dresdner SC has announced further personnel decisions just under a week after the end of the season. After captain Jennifer Janiska had already announced her departure from Dresden, the two US-Americans Grace Frohling and Tia Jimerson, the Serbian libera Aleksandra Jegdic, the Dutchwoman Hester Jasper and Pia Timmer, who only signed in December, will also be leaving the third-placed team in the championship.

Frohling and Jimerson have already decided that they will play in the new professional league in the USA (League One Volleyball). It is not yet known what the future holds for the others.

Lara Berger and Dutch player Famke Boonstra are also no longer in the squad for the new season. After two years in DSC kit, the 22-year-old Berger has taken up an option to terminate her contract. After shoulder surgery, the diagonal attacker needed a lot of time to make her comeback and return to her pre-injury performance. In addition, the DSC and outside attacker Famke Boonstra have mutually agreed to terminate their contract, which is valid until 2025.
