Although the Saxons lost 73:82 (36:39) at home to Bilbao Basket on Wednesday, they had already laid the foundation for their place in the final with a 98:73 victory in the first leg in the Basque country. In the final, the runners-up in the German league will face Turkish representative Bahcesehir Koleji from Istanbul. Melvin Pantzar (15), Kristian Kullamae (14), Keith Hornsby (11), Trygvvi Hlinason and Thijs de Ridder (10 each) played the biggest part in the visitors' success.

The home side quickly trailed 0:4 (2.), but after six minutes it was 14:9 in front and initially held that lead until 29:24 (12.). However, the Spaniards did not give up and were three points ahead at the break. However, the home side had ensured a preliminary decision in this duel at 53:47 (27') and then took it easy.
